Carrie Moyer

CARRIE MOYER is a New York-based artist. She is known for her vibrant, abstract works that merge elements of modernist painting with feminist and queer politics. The main impetus for her work is what she can do with acrylic paint and what she can suggest poetically, conceptually, materially and physically. Moyer imbues her pieces with personal and political meaning and communicates political and social messages through non-representational forms.
