Jennifer and Kevin McCoy

JENNIFER AND KEVIN MCCOY are an artistic duo and couple based in Brooklyn, New York. They work with interactive media, film, performance and installation to explore personal experience in relation to new technology, mass media and global commerce. Their work often focuses on how technology and culture intersect, exploring the ways in which stories are told in contemporary society. These works explore the geologic compositions of constructed digital landscapes. The layers of images of rocks, mountains, water and sky appear like striations across the screen, with each layer scanning through an image chosen from databases of AI-developed source images.
